It's a me-a!

about me

I am passionate about buildings, infrastructure, and climate. When not working on challenging trans-disciplinary problems in building science/physics, I am to be found reading about or teaching energy, development, the environment, and policy.

I hold a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the (Swiss) Federal Polytechnic of Lausanne (EPFL in French). My thesis can be found in the EPFL repository. My research interests include the built environment, sustainable architecture, development (particularly sustainable infrastructure), building simulation, the use of machine learning in building simulation and design, among others. If you're interested enough, look at my CV for all the gory details of my professional life.
